This section provides information on how to access Medi-Cal and other medical/insurance benefits during the pandemic.
Please call these resources ahead of time as most are offering services via telephone or by appointment only.
In order to be tested for COVID-19, you must have a referral from your medical provider. For people who are uninsured, this can be challenging. Covered California has opened a special enrollment due to COVID-19. If you do not have health insurance, you can apply now! Once you have applied, if you appear eligible for Medi-Cal, your local Medi-Cal office (Napa County Self Sufficiency Services) will process your application. These services are “essential” and will continue to be available. (707) 253-4511
Community Health Initiative (CHI) can help you navigate healthcare access and health insurance questions. You can reach CHI by visiting their website or call 707-227-0830. CHI is open for phone appointments only.
Visit this page and click on the SERVICES tab for updated information about hours of operation and service modifications while the Shelter in Home Order is in place.
